His friends told him it would be easy money. Now he’s been shot and ruthless terrorists are pursuing them.
They were honest men; what made Miles and Alec decide to steal millions from a foreign diplomat they were body guarding? Why did they want Luke Adams, their lifelong friend, to be a party to such madness? Moreover, how would they persuade Luke, a naturally cautious man, to consider such insanity? Miles and Alec both worked in the Middle East, they were tough and battle worn, perfect bodyguards. Luke had worked with the boys in the past and was familiar with their business.
After hearing the plan, Luke refused to have anything to do with it. Then he changed his mind, yet his character has not changed. He is still cautious; could it be fear for the safety of his friends, or is he learning things about himself he never knew before? Perhaps a reunion with Louise, his friends’ sister, has made him think again. Louise, it transpired was to be at the French villa rented by the brothers; Karen and Laura would accompany her, the brothers had reasoned, it would be more natural if they were driving through Europe with female companions.
They were escorting the diplomat, and his gold, from his embassy in London to Marseilles. The robbery was a success. The three friends were delighted. Rich and delighted. All that remained of the plan was the road trip to Spain, to sell the gold.
The diplomat met his good friends, Hamadeh, and Hussein, in Marseilles. This charming, evil duo were the spearhead of a vicious terrorist organisation. The diplomat introduced them to his bodyguards; after all, they were never going to cross paths again!
Then the wheels came off.
Terrorists follow Miles and Alec to Spain forcing them to participate in a violent, personal, running war against their pursuers.
I feel like I am there in the middle of all the thrilling action, it is so vivid.
“Fantastic thrilling read, could not put it down.” JG.
National security forces enter the fray as the terrorists close in on the brothers, during their overland chase from France to Spain.
“The main characters are interesting and likeable and the twists and turns of the story make the book difficult to put down. A great action story, highly recommended!” JR
A story for lovers of explosive, relentless action and intrigue. It will keep you guessing to the end and you will still be surprised.
“If you want a good action story this is the book for you.” SW.

Hi, I’m Luke Adams; I’d like to tell you a little about the adventure I undertook in ‘Two Wrongs’ with my friends Miles and Alec Fletcher.
The Fletcher twins and I had been best friends since we were all five years old, they were real tearaways, and I love those two. In fairness, I have to say we were all tearaways and, as I was the biggest and oldest, I led them into any and every dangerous, mischievous or illegal adventure I could think of.
They run a successful bodyguarding business now, Romulus Security, working mainly in the Middle East. Every time they come home, we get together and have a great time. As for me, I am a business consultant; I am also quite successful and I have a lot of time to myself, as I have two associates who deal with most of the day-to-day work.
In summer 2011, they came home while delivering a Saudi diplomat and his colleagues to their embassy in London and later to a Saudi-owned business in France. When we got together, the twins dropped a bombshell in my lap. We were going to rob the diplomat of millions of pounds in gold bars! Naturally, I thought it was a joke but they laid out a plan before me, and I realised it was for real.
I told them to forget it, it was ridiculous, it was impossible and I wanted nothing to do with it.
Two days later, I had another discussion with the twins and gave them a real volley for implicating their sister Louise in their ridiculous plan. She and her friends were going to be with us solely to give the impression of a group of couples holidaying together.
They pointed out this would be particularly useful when we all drove to Barcelona to trade the gold. They had explained the plan in more detail and I now thought it was fool proof; when you check out the book, you’ll see why.
The starting point was the Saudi Embassy in Mayfair, where we would pick up the diplomat and his aides. We were also using another of the twins’ Romulus guys, an old buddy of ours called Tom Ramsay. He knew nothing about the plan but we were all glad to have him with us.
The twins’ planning was meticulous; the robbery was smooth as silk, we had one hundred, 1kg bars of gold before we reached the private Saudi jet at Heathrow. We had it made in the shade …

This is a thriller set in the north of England, where fear begets crime; and crime begets killing. The violent extinction of a ruthless crime family unleashes bloody vendetta against a city’s police force.
For too long the city of Manchester seethed in the grip of vicious criminal gangs, they propagated a subculture of barbarism equal to anything catalogued from the Middle Ages. The Greater Manchester Police set their sights on the most vicious of these gangs, led by the Brewster family.
The GMP assembled a task force of gangbusters whose leader, DI Stuart Corcoran declared a ‘zero tolerance’ policy on Brewster’s Fairfield Mob.
On a rainy, sticky night in 1999, Corcoran led his team into battle. It transpired to be the last stand for the brutal Brewsters. Trapped in the Fairfield Arches, in the shadow of Manchester’s Piccadilly Station, they met their bloody end. The GMP success at the Arches greatly subdued the other gangs and the citizens of Manchester now felt safe. Corcoran and his colleagues, DS Peter Enright and DC Kevin Jennings were the ‘Heroes of the Arches’.
Eleven years passed and without warning, a vicious murder shocked the city. Detectives found a bone-chilling note at the scene promising more deaths. The note made mention of revenge against the police and the GMP worked on that. They decided the note was from a surviving Brewster. They had believed that the Brewsters were all dead, shortly after the battle at the Arches.
A new task force headed by Corcoran’s protégé, DCI Beverley Holland, must find the killer before any further revenge killings occur. The note is the only clue the police have.
In a dark, unsettling atmosphere of hatred and determination, bodies begin piling up. The killer seems to know everything the police know, impossible, as that may seem. Enright travelled to the birthplace of the Brewsters in Ireland and discovered something devastatingly crucial to the case.
A recurring phenomenon in the stygian gloom was the young man in the black suit, who seemed to be haunting the city streets. An evil aura dripped from him, like filthy water from a broken sewer pipe.
Bev Holland and her team work tirelessly to solve the case, and every time they score a breakthrough, another victim is murdered. The GMP team is determined not to lose this battle and they are prepared to go to any lengths.

“An absolute must-read. As only a true master of action can deliver, this book careens from one wild scene to the next. With mystery and suspense tied up beautifully within this fascinating knot of a plot, Igbon has solidified his place among top writers of the genre. There aren’t a lot of books that fall into this category, but this is one novel that won’t disappoint. Falling within a range of genres, and knocking it out of the park in each of them, Beyond Vengeance is not to be missed.”
It is Christmas 1953 and the new Queen has delivered her Christmas message to her loyal British subjects. She and they, are oblivious to the dreadful threat that Europe faces.
The British Secret Intelligence Service, holds vital information about a paramilitary organisation code-named the Goose Gang. This is an evil syndicate, created by four former Nazi officers who have aligned themselves with a Communist faction and amassed massive wealth and power.
A British agent stole a vital list from the Goose Gang, which would bring down their whole organisation. The list identified hundreds of bank accounts used by them. When the agent was found murdered early on Christmas morning in a Paris field, the list had been taken from him.
Back in England, Secret Service agent Guy Trent had been called in to MI6 Headquarters for a meeting with his superiors. The agent murdered in Paris was Simon Carter, Trent’s wartime commander and best friend.
Trent, a former commando, fought for his country in the War; he was still fighting for his country in the Cold War. The assassination of his friend and colleague had increased his value as an agent, and now his country had urgent need of his services.
Trent’s first stop was Paris and the scene of his colleague’s murder. Somehow, the enemy knew of his movements and he had an eventful Channel crossing, when two of their agents encountered him on board ship.
Although he handled the situation with ease, Trent understood that someone had betrayed him. There was further evidence of this when two other attacks were launched on him when he arrived in Paris. The outcome of those attacks made the enemy aware that Trent was a formidable opponent, who must die.
He had other plans; he would seek out Carter’s murderer and the person who betrayed him.
Assisted by other agents, Trent captures one of the four leaders of the Goose Gang in a Paris hotel. The man is flown to MI6 Headquarters for “deep interrogation”, he would never rise again.
The hunt for the list takes him to Tuscany and the historical city of Florence. Whilst there, he teams up with fellow MI6 agent Tom Masters.
Masters informs him that they have another mission connected with the Goose Gang, the rescue of a kidnapped Italian scientist. To do this Trent will have to break into the Gang’s villa stronghold.
Trent and Masters team up with other agents to plan the extraction of the kidnapped scientist. There are many obstacles standing in heir way, and Trent loses another friend during the raid on the villa.
He enlists the help of CIA agent Plummer in his search for the man who betrayed Carter; he has no doubt that this same person is now in Florence too.
An urgent communique from Trent’s section director, Monk, explains to him the true atrocity of the Goose Gangs plan. European leaders would be given an ultimatum which, if ignored, would see the face of western Europe change forever. Monk informs Trent that he has three days to end this threat and destroy the Goose Gang.
Intelligence suggests that the head of the Goose Gang, Udo Koschmider, would be arriving at Florence Airport. Agents were waiting at the airport but the wily Koschmider had arrived via Pisa; he had gone from there to his property in the countryside of Tuscany. Trent follows and lays his plans for the destruction of Koschmider and his evil plan.
Trent finds Koschmider’s factory and villa as he scours the countryside, but he is picked up by two Germans masquerading as local policemen. Whilst being escorted to the police station, Trent uses his Jeep as a weapon against the fake police car. The resulting collision sends the car through a crash barrier and down into a flooded quarry.
Having found twelve trucks in Koschmider’s warehouse, Trent locates the deadly cargo set to be delivered to twelve European countries. He must make sure that does not happen. Acting alone, he sets about disabling the trucks to prevent them leaving on their mission of death at 5.00 the next morning.
His final act, is to avenge the killing of his friend Carter and terminate the traitor. Alone once more he makes his way to the country villa, not knowing what fresh horrors await him there. His only plan is to keep moving until he completes his mission.
